What if I have problems installing the software?

If you are experiencing difficulty installing the MSN Messenger software, please try the following options:
- Ensure that no other programs are running. Sometimes it helps to close as many programs as possible before trying to install the program.
- Delete your cache and cookies (old data files in your web browser). Instructions on how to do this can be found by clicking here (please look for the heading "You may have old data in your browser that needs to be deleted").
- If you are in a corporate environment, make sure you have the proper permissions to install applications on your computer. If you are unsure about what permissions you have on your computer, contact your system administrator for more information.
