MSN Messenger is a free service, but there are general costs associated with accessing the Internet.

• Your Internet service provider will charge you for connecting to the Internet and your phone company will charge you the cost of a telephone call to connect to your Internet provider.
• If you access the Internet at a café, you will only be charged for the duration of your Internet connection (generally per hour).
• Sometimes computer and Internet use at public libraries is free.

MSN Messenger does not charge you to chat online, check your e-mails, play games with others or use any of the other features available.
