Stop MSN Messenger from opening automatically

To prevent MSN Messenger from opening automatically when you turn your computer on:
- Open Messenger, click Tools and then Options.
- Select the General tab.
- Remove the tick from the box that reads Automatically run Messenger when I log on to Windows by clicking the box once.
- Click OK.
