Membership: Forgotten or changing your password.

ninemsn uses Microsoft Passport as its basis for membership authentication. If you have a Hotmail address then you already have a Passport.
If you have forgotten your password, or would like to change your password, you will need to do this in accordance with Hotmail and Passport procedures.
For Hotmail accounts
For a step-by-step guide to resetting the password on your Hotmail account, please click here.
For non-Hotmail accounts
- Go to the .NET Passport home page: www.passport.com
- On the right-hand side of the page, click the Reset your password link.
- Enter your e-mail address and change the country setting to Australia - after doing this, the page should refresh and the State and ZIP Code fields should disappear.
- You may see a page displaying a Secret Question - if you answer this correctly, you should then be prompted to change your password. If you do not see the Secret Question, you will be prompted to request an e-mail from .NET Passport Services with further instructions.
