If you are experiencing difficulty signing in to MSN Explorer and the program displays "Attempt 2...Attempt 3...Attempt 4..." etc., please follow the instructions below:
1. Go to your Start menu and select Run...
2. Type in the following:
regsvr32 softpub.dll
3. Click the OK button.
4. A small window should appear in the middle of your screen. This window will state:
DllRegisterServer in softpub.dll succeeded.
Click the OK button.
You should now be able to sign in to MSN Explorer. Unfortunately, MSN Explorer is quite an outdated program and is no longer supported by ninemsn, MSN or Microsoft, nor has it been actively supported for over two years. Should you encounter further problems with this program, you may need to request assistance from a technician.
