Possible causes and resolutions
There are a few factors that contribute to how fast Hotmail will run on your computer.

The speed of your Internet Service Provider's connection to the Internet will affect how quickly you can access your Hotmail account.

Check with your Internet service provider.

Cause B: |
Hotmail often does upgrades to the Hotmail site, which will affect different people's accounts, depending on which web server is being upgraded.

Resolution B:
|
Try again later; upgrades normally only take 24 hours. |

Cause C: |
If the Hotmail site or the Internet in general is heavily trafficked, you may experience a slow connection to Hotmail.

Try again later.

Cause D: |
Displaying too many e-mails on one page in your Hotmail account can slow your connection down.
|

Resolution D:
|
To change the number of e-mails displayed per page in your Inbox, go to Options, click Mail Display Settings. Set the number of e-mails displayed per page to 10 or 25.
