Perceived spam: child protection
|
We want you and your family to have the safest possible online experience and are working hard to prevent unwanted e-mail ever reaching your inbox. It's recommended that you talk to your children (or your parents) about some of the issues regarding online safety. As appropriate, express your concerns about paedophiles, pornographers, tricksters, liars and cheats; all can be found operating on the internet, but with a little caution and our filter technology, you can avoid ever having to open e-mail from any of them.
Protecting yourself with Hotmail:
Your account is now set to only receive e-mail from a specified number of contacts. You can receive e-mail from somebody new by simply adding them to your contacts or by entering their details in a safe list (a list of e-mail addresses from which you have deemed it 'safe' to receive mail). You can learn how to create a safe list here.
